Kaval is a semi-chromatic Bulgarian folk instrument with an airy, melancholic sound.
Tambura
Tambura is a Bulgarian folk instrument with four double pairs of strings, like a mandolin. It is tuned like a guitar, but sounds completely distinctive. Suitable for both accompaniment and melody playing.
